Commitment

after a time of discernment,
you know what the Lord revealed to me?

it doesnt really matter what church you go to.
the same thing applies to which school is right to go to, which small group is best for you, which job is better, which ministry is for you, which organization helps you get there, what approach or step you take.
for we will always seem to get there in due time eventually, only in His time.

impatience is lack of maturation. we always want it our way, and do things in our idea, but when we do so, it doesnt really come out the way we want it to, and thats the reason why we are insatiable creatures.
but if we let God, let it flow, instead of trying to figure out everything, just follow the Holy Ghost’s navigation and rely on Him.
that patience evolves in maturation for our personal growth.
there really is no perfect step, perfect approach, perfect moment. there is no such thing as waiting for the perfect time. the perfect time only happens in God’s hands, the perfect thing exists only in the imperfect thing.

& there really isnt the “perfect” or which church is “better”.
the presbyterians are more mindful, bethel is more spirited, the hops is more forerunning, the baptists focus on more… and on and on and on and on…
you have to see it like this, all the churches in the world, are all forming into one, to become the bride of Christ. you separate the churches from each other, then yes each church is going to look different, but understand that each church is focusing on one area, not one area is better than the other.
there is no such thing as what’s the “better route”, that’s all an illusion.
the hand is not better than the foot. the hand has flaws the foot has strengths in, and the foot has weaknesses, the hand has strengths in. there may be one church that is focusing on the end times, and another church that’s focused on the bible, and another that’s focused on the doctrines, and another that’s focused on the charismatics, but look at it from a macro view. we’re all filling a part to be active in the body of Christ, bridling each body part, with each finger, hand, elbow, arm, leg, heart, brain, head, etc. we’re all different, yet we’re all filling a duty for the body & bride of Christ.
and that’s not up to Man to judge, it’s for God to judge. only til the day the Bridegroom returns. but until that day comes, lets just all cultivate in harmony of Gan Yeladim! a Garden of His Children.

it’s not church we’re looking for, its community.
and we dont go to church out of political preferences/tastes, or that’s selfish & immature.
do you leave the church because it doesnt play your favorite type of worship music? or it’s too cliquey? or the congregation is too big? or the congregation is too small? or you disagree with the doctrines? or you dislike the pastor’s messages? or there’s a lack of ministries? or it’s organic? or it’s too institutionalized? or it’s too conservative? or it’s too traditional? or it’s denominational? or it’s too charismatic? or it’s not biblically grounded? or it’s too far? or it starts too early? or on and on and on and on and on….

or should i be going to ywam? or should i be going to house of prayer? or should i be going to bethel? or elevate? on and on and on and on and on and on…til the break of dawn!

God’s plan is not trying to speed up the process for you. God’s plan is to let you soak in it on a steady pace, not slow, nor fast, but just the right pace. If we’re anxious about the future, we’re impatient in the present, meaning we actually are not ready, and God knows it too.
He continues to throw challenges at us, that’s why life throws us lemons. God keeps throwing us challenges to make us learn from it, grow, and make us stronger. When we whine & pout and point fingers, then we aren’t ready, and God will keep you in that stage until you’ve matured enough to crossover to the next obstacle course.
He throws us all these obstacles, because He wants to use us in His greater plan. He has a purpose for you, for His will. it may not make sense at times, and sometimes yea people die, get sick, lose limbs, car accident, injuries sustained, loved ones die, bad things happen. i cant explain it, but know this….it was a reason why it happened, it was meant for something greater, only relying on God we will truly find greater understanding for the reason why we had to go through all the battling.
We may have won our battles, but the war is coming, and He is training each and every one of us soldiers in Christ to prepare for the day we strike in the warzone.

James 1:2,3 (ESV)
2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

yes, people are instruments used by God to relay you words.
The Shepherds, Rabbis, Pastors, Elders will advise you to go to this church, or get connected with this ministry, or this organization, or this small group, or this or this or this or this or that…
for they are all correct! i see now, it really doesnt matter which place you join or which one youre in now. Eventually we will be there, soon enough, but on a steady pace, in comfortable spiritual transition, only in God’s time…not ours.

so with this said.
Go to church not for self interests, but we go to proceed in commitment.

“Dear Christian:
Make a commitment to your local church. Be a host rather than a guest. Don’t just consume.
Serve. Engage. Give. Pray. Love.”-Pastor Eugene Cho (One Days Wages Ministry)

if you aren’t getting fed from the church, the problem isnt the church itself, the problem is you! It’s our responsibility in order to grow in our walks, it’s our job to bridle our growth through feeding ourselves. We’re not spoon-fed gerber babies anymore, we’re grown adults.
Stop pointing fingers at what you think the church lacks or what you dislike.
Stay committed to the church, regardless of the ups & downs.
In life, you’ll always meet someone you bump heads with, or you just dont like in general, or any kind of trouble, but if you just give up/quit/avoid the downs, then you aint giving life the benefit of the doubt! if something you dislike happens, you going to keep running away from it? block/delete people from facebook?
In the military, they say you’ll be working with people who you completely dislike, but you cant quit the military, so you see them everyday every minute every second. Even just the menial tasks can be appeared as senseless, but it’s the long consistent commitment that helps us mature into true character.
Promises are words, Commitment is value.
A man has only 2 things in life: his word & his balls.

“DO IT ANYWAY
People are unreasonable, illogical and self centered
– love them anyway
If you do good, people will accuse of selfish ulterior motives
– do good anyway
If you are successful you will win false friends and true enemies
– succeed anyway
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow
– do good anyway
Honest and frankness make you vulnerable
– be honest and frank anyway
The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds
– think big anyway
People favor underdogs but follow only the top dogs
– fight for some underdog anyway
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight
– build anyway
People really need help but attack you if you help them
-help people anyway
Give the world the best you’ve got and you’ll get kicked in the teeth
– give the world the best you’ve got anyway
(Persistence Pays Off – Injoy Life Club)”-Pastor Kyu Q Kim

We do it anyway no matter how senseless it sounds, we do, because we stay true to our word + character.
Staying committed leads into maturity.
Stay strong. Pain is an illusion. It will subside. Quitting lasts forever.

“”the world aint no place with sunshine & rainbows, its a very mean and nasty place. it will beat you down to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. you, me, or nobody is not gonna hit hard as life. but it aint how hard you hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. how much can you take and keep moving forward. thats how winning is done! now if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get your worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hits. and not pointing fingers because you aint where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody, cowards do that and that aint you! you’re better than that!”-Sylvester Stallone (Rocky Balboa)”

Now after saying all this, I think i have an idea which place is my church, which ministry i should be serving in, where my community is, who is my clique, who are my elders/mentors i should be submitted under, and who is my small group.

it’s here where I realized, that most of the people who are leaving comments, messages to me on facebook are the ones who actually care about me.

No more church hopping.
I’m returning to NewSong Church & TheROARdmv
and perhaps visit every once in a while at Crossover Community Church & NovaHOP& KYS Gospel Stream. But I’ve identified where my home should be at, 2012 to present was a great transition to journey in this new chapter in my life.
Thank you Lord for leading me & continue to further my walk.
